The Brief

The idea was to create a fantastic area for entertaining, offering an inviting space for hosting and serving guests. Functioning as a dedicated spot to decant a red or mix a cocktail, the bar is beautifully integrated into the room, echoing the home’s classic architecture while remaining completely distinct from the main kitchen work areas.

The Details

We designed this as a piece of furniture first. The crisp Farrow & Ball All White cabinetry frames the warm oak interiors, creating a rich backdrop for glassware behind the glazed doors. Serving as a fully equipped wet bar, it features its own sink, dishwasher, and under-counter wine cabinets. The engineering highlight is the pocket door; it slides effortlessly into the wall to reveal a full-height wine feature with a diamond lattice store, making it a completely self-contained station.
