The Brief

Big family, big noise, big requirements. We knocked a wall down to merge two cramped rooms into one beautiful open-plan space. The goal? A luxury kitchen that could handle dining for ten without flinching.

The Appliances

This is for serious cooks. We centered the design around a heavyweight Lacanche range and a full suite of Gaggenau appliances. With a 100-bottle wine conditioner and a dedicated drinks cabinet, it’s ready for a party at a moment’s notice.

The Finished Kitchen

We blurred the line between living and working. Whether you’re cooking a banquet or washing muddy kit, the luxury standard never drops.

FAQs For This Kitchen Project

What was the main goal for this renovation?

The brief was all about scale and entertaining. By reconfiguring the architecture of the floor plan, we were able to create a luxury kitchen that handles dining and entertaining with ease.

This kitchen was designed for serious cooks, so we centred the layout around a Lacanche range – this is like having a professional chef’s station at home. To compliment this, we integrated a full suite of Gaggenau appliances, ensuring the kitchen performs as a serious culinary workspace.

In a space this size, we used soft neutral tones and elegant glass pendants to keep the atmosphere light and inviting. By coordinating the cabinetry colours with the dining area, the kitchen feels like a natural extension of the home’s living space.

We designed this space to transition from ‘family breakfast’ to ‘cocktail hour’. The centrepiece is a handcrafted drinks cabinet and a Gaggenau 100-bottle wine conditioner. We chose warm metallic finishes for the handles and taps that perfectly compliment the soft internal cabinet lighting, creating a sophisticated glow when you are entertaining.
