Our Installation Service

How We install our furniture

1. Your Installation Options

We approach installation with the same flexibility as our design process. We recognise some clients have trusted trades they have relied on for years, while others prefer us to take full responsibility from start to finish.

Client-Led Installation
If you have your own team, we will deliver the furniture directly to site, fully manufactured and ready for your trades to install. We provide the cabinetry and the technical plans. Your fitters handle the rest.

Andrew Ryan Installation
Alternatively, you can leave the process to us. An Andrew Ryan installation means our own experienced team handles the fitting. These are the craftsmen who know our joinery inside out, ensuring a smooth transition from the workshop floor to your home.

2. Delivery & Handling

We build our cabinetry to last, which means it is significantly heavier than standard furniture. That is why we manage the logistics ourselves; our delivery team knows exactly how to manoeuvre a two-metre larder unit through a tight doorway without disturbing the paintwork. We handle the unwrapping and positioning, maintaining the integrity of your furniture every step of the way.

3. The Fitting Process

We know renovations can be stressful, especially if you are living through them. To ease that pressure, our team treats your home with the utmost care; floor protection is laid immediately, and dust extraction is used throughout. By maintaining a clean workspace and clearing all debris, we ensure your home remains as orderly as possible.

Before we leave, we meticulously check the fine details – inspecting gaps, drawer runners and handles. We don’t sign off until the joinery is operating exactly as intended, leaving you with a room that is ready to use.

4. Final Hand-Finishing

Most of the painting occurs in our workshop, where we achieve a durable, spray-finished base. However, as installation is a physical construction process, there are still scribes to cut and components to secure.

Once the joinery is firmly in place, one of our specialist finishers visits the site to apply the final coat. They hand-paint over installation points and touch up any scribed edges. It is this final layer of detail that transforms a fitted installation into a beautiful piece of bespoke furniture.
