In a large open-plan room, symmetry calms the space. The client wanted a dedicated entertaining zone that mirrored the breakfast station on the opposite side, keeping guest traffic away from the chef at the range. The goal was a cabinet that could transition seamlessly from a quiet Tuesday morning to a lively Saturday night.
We finished the exterior in Farrow & Ball–Hague Blue to ground the room. It’s deep, dramatic hue contrasts beautifully with the warm, oak interiors. The mirrored back panel adds depth and bounces the warm LED lighting around the glassware. The bi-fold doors fold back completely, ensuring the walkway stays clear even when the bar is open for business.
It’s a masterclass in duality. Closed, it’s quiet architectural furniture. Open, the lights hit the crystal, and the kitchen instantly has a heartbeat. It’s functional, sociable, and built to be used.
