The clients asked for ‘Hollywood Industrial’. They wanted a space that felt moody, atmospheric, and built for serious entertaining. Think private members’ club, but comfortable enough to actually live in.
The main kitchen looks pristine because it’s allowed to be. We hid a fully stainless-steel commercial Prep Kitchen behind the main cabinetry. It means you can sear steaks or fry fish in the back, while the open-plan lounge stays looking perfect (and smelling of Jo Malone candles).
The island is sexy. It seats ten people and is clad in XTONE Orobico Dark. The veins are pattern-matched across the stone to ensure the join is virtually invisible. If you’re going to do stone, you have to do it right.
To keep things seamless, the client opted for a poured resin floor. With zero grout lines to break the eye – the heavy, dark cabinetry looks like it’s floating on air.
This is a masterclass in mood. With ‘Wall Art’ TVs and a Jack-and-Jill fireplace, it feels more like a suite in a luxury boutique hotel than a residential kitchen.
