A busy family needs a kitchen that can take a beating but still looks serene. Our clients wanted a serious cooking space with storage to burn, but without the room feeling cluttered or heavy.
The kitchen has been designed around a cult classic: the Aga. To give it the respect it deserves, we built a massive bespoke canopy above it. It creates a strong architectural focal point, but by keeping the palette in soft “greige” and off-white, it feels grounding rather than aggressive.
We kept the hardware simple. When the cabinetry is this substantial, you don’t need to shout with the handles. The restrained choices add to the sense of flow.
