Cheshire Stately Home Kitchen

The Brief

This client was done with going safe. They didn’t want another beige box, they wanted a showstopper. The brief was to create a kitchen that feels bold, moody, and ready for a party the second the lights go down.

The Hero

The real star here isn’t the cooker, it’s the illuminated gin cabinet. We designed a dedicated drinks area that glows against the deep blue cabinetry. It has bags of storage and is a statement that says, “the working day is over.”

The Island

The central island is massive. Paired with velvet stools and brass accents, it’s more cocktail hour than breakfast time. It’s designed for leaning on with a G&T in hand.

The Details

To keep the vibe sophisticated, we hid the domestic reality. A bi-fold breakfast station conceals the toaster and crumbs. We also slipped in a dedicated charging drawer with built-in sockets, so mobile phones can be charged without ugly cables ruining the view of the bar. Gold hardware takes the luxe level up a notch.

The Hallway

We didn’t stop at the kitchen door. We pulled that stunning deep blue right out into the hallway with a matching console table. With simple tapered legs and matching brass knobs, it ties the whole ground floor together.

The Finished Kitchen

A kitchen that performs beautifully by day and entertains effortlessly by night.
